Have you upgraded your Windows and HP Printer Assistant is not opening?

No need to worry! Sometimes when you upgrade your Windows operating system to a newer version, the HP Printer Assistant shows the “Connect a printer tool” in the place of printer settings and view, which interrupts the functioning of the software.

To troubleshoot HP Printer Assistant you have to uninstall HP printer software and reinstall the latest drivers from HP software.

To troubleshoot this problem, reconnect the printer, uninstall HP printer software, reinstall the latest drivers from HP Software and Downloads section, and then restart your device.

To fix this issue out, remove your connected HP printer from the list of devices, now connect the printer in the HP Printer Assistant, Set your current HP printer as the default printer, and restart your device.

Apart from these two, a different situation may also occur where the HP Printer Assistant doesn’t open with a USB-connected printer. To resolve this problem, reconnect the printer, uninstall the HP printer software, and reinstall the latest printer drivers.

If you are still persisting same issue then contact HP Printer Support team (Toll-Free) 1-888-315-9712 available 24*7
